History of the BMW 1 Series
The BMW 1 Series is a premium hatchback available in 3-door and 5-door options; it is one of the most accessible options in the BMW range.
BMW first launched the 1 Series family hatchback in 2004, originally replacing the 3 Series compact. Since 2014, the coupé and convertible 1 Series models have been marketed separately as the 1 Series, therefore the 1 Series no longer includes these body styles.
